- The balding manager, also referred to as "Baldy", is a section manager at E.L. Medical Co., Ltd.

Doppo Kanonzaka's boss. He constantly pushes Doppo to the edge with his power harassment and unreasonable instructions.
Appearance[]
The manager is a fairly short, medium-sized man. He is partially bald with short, black hair. He wears glasses that obscure his eyes, and his main outfit has never been shown in color.
In the manga, he wears a mid-tone, textured suit jacket and pants with a light dress shirt, a dark tie, and dark dress shoes. He is has also been shown to wear a dark tie with light stripes, and a dark lanyard. In the anime, he is shown to wear a black suit jacket and pants, with a white dress shirt, a black tie, a red lanyard, and black dress shoes.
Personality[]
The manager is portrayed as overbearing, controlling, and selfish. At the same time, he is shown to be rather feeble and easily overpowered when confronted.
Etymology[]
- His name in the guidebook translates literally to "bald, baldy" (ハゲ) (hage) and "boss, section chief, manager" (課長) (kacho)
Trivia[]
- Based on the fact that Doppo is a sales representative, it can be assumed that the balding manager is the manager of the sales department at their company.
