Translation Notes[]
- ↑ The og text is “男臭い”, which also means “manly” or “masculine”, therefore it could also be translated as “You’re so manly…I can smell it.” So instead of attacking Riou directly it could be bit more petty.
- ↑ Here I used “enthralling” for simplicity; the og text is “夢中にさせる”, which literally means something like “make you feel as if you’re in dreams”. So this could translate to something like “Shinjuku is the dream/fantasy of 19-year-olds to aunties.”
- ↑ The og text is “そう甘くない”, meaning “it’s not easy/innocent/simple”, and to capture all that I used an idiom instead of a more literal translation.
