	A former member of The Dirty Dawg, the oldest son of the Yamada family, and proprietor of Odd-Jobs Yamada. He used to be such an infamous delinquent that it was said that there wasn’t a single person in Ikebukuro who didn’t know his name. He’s a very compassionate person with a deep-seated sense of justice who can’t bring himself to ignore people in need. Everyone admires him for how well he looks after his little brothers. As a hardcore nerd, his hobbies include watching anime and keeping up with all the latest light novels. He and Samatoki Aohitsugi, leader of the Yokohama Division, hate each other’s guts.
	The second youngest Yamada brother. He’s strong in a fight and notorious within the Ikebukuro Division. Having grown up in the shadow of his beloved older brother, he worships Ichiro and followed in his footsteps in becoming a delinquent. Also thanks to his influence, Jiro knows a lot about anime and manga. The one thing he can’t stand is seeing people insult Ichiro. He’s always bickering with his younger brother, Saburo.
	The youngest Yamada brother. Unlike his elder brothers, he’s something of a prodigy who can seemingly master just about anything he puts his mind to. He may not have become a delinquent like him, but he harbors deep respect for his older brother Ichiro. He knows how to be polite, but thanks to his twisted personality and tendency to condescend to those he thinks of as beneath him, he’s rather lacking in friends. Consequently, he’s always looking for people to play his favorite board games with.
	A former member of The Dirty Dawg and the yakuza in charge of the turf in Yokohama. He has a perpetual frown on his face and is quick to start a fight if something displeases him, but he would never raise a hand against a woman. He even became a yakuza for his beloved little sister. He treasures the good luck charm she made for him. He and Ichiro Yamada, leader of the Ikebukuro Division, hate each other’s guts.
	An active-duty police officer. He joined the force to stomp out the drug trade, but he’s in deep with the yakuza and gets his hands dirty with a wide variety of criminal activities including assault, bribes, embezzlement, extortion, and blackmail, just to name a few. He’s developed a mutually beneficial relationship with Samatoki Aohitsugi through his beat. As the resident problem-solver, he’s often tasked with putting out fires within the Yokohama Division. His catchphrase is, “I’m throwing you in the slammer!”
	A veteran navy sergeant first class and the son of an American father and Japanese mother. As a former military man, he never drops his guard or pulls punches with his enemies. Under normal circumstances he’s a calm and quiet person who enjoys being of service to others. His cooking skills are what you might describe as technically quite proficient.
	A former member of The Dirty Dawg and fashion designer. He may look childish on the outside, but he’s sharp as a tack on the inside, and knows exactly what people think of him. Despite his forwardness and frequent lack of tact in his choice of words, people love him for his natural gift of cute. Even with his obscene popularity, he doesn’t play favorites. He’ll give you a piece of candy if you ruffle his hair. He’s always butting heads with Jakurai, leader of the Shinjuku Division.
	A writer who dresses like an intellectual from a bygone era. He enjoys making up stories about the lives of the strangers he passes on the street. He is an extremely persuasive liar and often times those lies would go unnoticed were it not for his habit of teasing the gullible by telling them, “Just kidding, none of that was true.”
	A gambler so addicted to the game he’ll lay not only whatever cash he can get his hands on, but even his life, down on the table for the right bet. There’s nothing he despises more than the phrase, “the straight and narrow,” and he’s only survived as long as he has thanks to the extraordinarily good luck he was born with. He makes all of his decisions with the dice he carries around. As often as he finds himself flat broke, he’s quick to latch onto anyone who will feed him.
	A former member of The Dirty Dawg and genius doctor. His tall and lanky frame is wrapped in an aura of mystery. He can use his unique flow to rejuvenate people. Jakurai has a fondness for strange characters, and while even Ramuda of the Shibuya Division had piqued his interest, they are currently at odds with each other. He enjoys meditating and fishing, and has even invited Hifumi along on fishing trips before.
	A host, and despite the impression his gregarious nature and care free tone give off, he’s actually completely terrified of women. He became a host in an attempt to conquer his fear, and after much sweat and tears, he learned to transform himself into a ladykiller once he dons his suit. He’s extremely dexterous, and has a wide range of hobbies ranging from the indoor to the outdoor. He and Doppo have known each other since they were in elementary school, and he frequently mends Doppo’s torn suits for him.
	An office worker at a medical device manufacturer whose most notable characteristic is that he has no notable characteristics. He’s a pessimist and thinks about everything in a negative light, so friends are not exactly something he has in spades. In fact, Hifumi is his only friend, and they’ve been close ever since elementary school. Despite the number of awful situations he’s found himself in because of Hifumi, he’s still glad to have him around.
	A comedian. There’s nothing he loves more than making people laugh. Curiously, while he’s a sliver-tongued comedic genius on stage, his friends know him best for his strings of awful puns. He used to be part of Mad Comic Dialogue with Samatoki back in Ikebukuro.
	A teacher. He used to be part of a comedy duo with Sasara, but he never felt that he was a good match for Sasara’s talent and ultimately they broke up. As a teacher, he’s beloved by his students. He has crippling stage fright and has difficulty speaking in front of large crowds.
	A conman. As charming as he is, he’ll stop at nothing to carry out his plans. That said, he is a man of his word with a strong sense of duty. Although, you can never be quite sure when he’s being serious.
	Heir to a renowned Buddhist temple. At 14 he mastered the ascetic life his father, Shakku, wasn’t able to achieve. He has a dirty mouth unbecoming of a monk, but his guiding principle in life is to never betray his friends. He was part of the Naughty Busters with Ichiro in Ikebukuro.
	Vocalist of a visual kei band. He was subjected to severe bullying when he was still in school. Hitoya advocated for him back then and Jushi has looked up to him ever since. A crybaby narcissist. Of few friends, but he treasures his beloved plush pig, Amanda.
	A lawyer who will take on any case for the right price. Nonetheless, he has a soft spot for cases involving bullying and will represent victims pro bono. Despite his harsh tone, he really looks out for people. An old acquaintance of Jakurai’s.
